2021 George O'Brien Summer Student Program
The University of Michigan Kidney Translational Core Center Medical Student Training Program in Kidney Disease (MKTCC-MSTP-KD) is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
Beginning in June 2021, this 6-8 week program allows medical students to conduct research under the direction of an established scientist in the areas of basic, systems biological, translational, clinical or health services research in kidney disease. Program participants historically received a stipend of $3,672; this will be similar for 2021.
